Perrie Edwards has thanked her fiancé Zayn Malik after he managed to get Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler to record a video message for her.

The Little Mix is in a dedicated relationship with the One Direction man and they announced their engagement last year.

In a couple of videos posted onto Instagram, Edwards is seen in shock as she watches a video message from Tyler congratulating them on their impending marriage.

Edwards then tweeted: "I can't get over this! My dad is going to fangirl so hard too! :D ahhhhhhh!"

She added: "Thank you to the bestest most amazing person on earth @zaynmalik for getting me my video message! :D I'm the luckiest, love you! Perrie <3."

Little Mix meanwhile are currently in the US as they promote their new album 'Salute'.

They will join up with Demi Lovato's Neon Lights tour this weekend, which opens in Vancouver on February 9.
