Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards has revealed that she didn't like her now-fiancé Zayn Malik, of One Direction fame, when they initially met because he came across as very cocky.

During a recent interview with Sugarscape, the 'Wings' star admitted it definitely wasn't love at first sight: "I didn't really like Zayn when I first met him, because I didn't know him and he seems a bit cocky and a bit full of himself."

The Little Mix songstress went onto add that Malik's persistence at getting to know her paid off because she's so into him now: "Then I realised that he's the most sweetest, most amazing person in the world, so you just need to get to know someone really. I think we texted every day after we met anyway and then it just happened. But he pursued me."

Last month, Edwards told Fabulous magazine that while they are engaged to be married, they're yet to make final wedding plans as there's never enough time for them to both sit down and figure out what they want:

"Everyone's like, 'Have you planned the hen night? Have you planned this and that?' But we've been so busy, I haven't. I don't want to go into it half-arsed. We want to do it properly."
