Little Mix on new album: 'We're women now - we've had relationships and new experiences'

Girl group Little Mix are currently working on their highly anticipated third studio album and revealed that it's likely to be unveiled in the new year and it will include some lyrically strong tracks.

When asked if the album has a tentative release date scheduled yet, the beauties admitted that it will be at some point in 2015: "Probably next year. We're just really taking time on this third album - we've been working with new writers, seeing what our sound is gonna be."

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards went onto add that experimenting with style is something they're all really enjoying: "It's been amazing just experimenting. Having fun, taking our time - we want it to be worth the wait!"

Leigh-Anne Pinnock then explained that lyrically, this album is likely to be 'more mature' than their previous offerings as they've all had some big defining experiences since their last record: "I think it'll be slightly more mature. We say this every year, but we've literally stepped it up with our vocals. We're constantly pushing ourselves because we always want to be better."

"Obviously the fans inspire us. We always make sure we've got something in the album the fans can relate to. There's more to inspire us now too, we're women now, we've had a few relationships, different experiences."
