Little Mix announce performance at Royal Albert Hall charity concert

Girl group Little Mix have confirmed that they will headline a special charity concert at London's Royal Albert Hall this summer.

The 'Salute' beauties will take the stage at the iconic venue on Sunday, June 7 for the Rays Of Sunshine organisation, which is a children's charity that grants wishes for children with serious and life-limiting illnesses across the UK, and other performers include Conor Maynard, Ella Eyre and Union J.

Tweeting about the exciting news earlier this morning (April 16), member Leigh-Anne Pinnock explained: "Listen up Mixers! We're headlining the @frankienbennys @RaysofSunshine Concert at @RoyalAlbertHall in June! Leigh x." Tickets for the concert are on sale now.

The girls, meanwhile, are currently working on their highly anticipated third studio album and recently admitted that they have written over 100 songs for the offering: “The writing process is so long and we have written more than 100 songs – now it’s just about picking the songs that will go on the album. We are really happy with the whole process so far and I think it’s going to be amazing. But before all that, we are happy just to be here and help support The X Factor.”
