Little Mix on course to bag their first No.1 album with 'Get Weird'

Little Mix are on course to achieve their first No.1 album this week.

The girl group unleashed their third record 'Get Weird' on Friday (November 6).

The Official Charts Company have revealed today (November 9) that the album is sitting pretty at No.1 in the UK.

Little Mix's 2013 effort 'Salute' went in at No.4, while their 2012 debut 'DNA' landed at No.3.

However, 'Get Weird' is only 566 units ahead of nearest rival Elvis on the midweek update.

The late singer's 'If I Can Dream' - reworkings of his music by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - is No.2 after topping the chart last week.

At No.3 meanwhile is Ellie Goulding's new entry 'Delirium', while The Beatles' '1' is No.4.

Rod Stewart's 'Another Country' drops three places to rest at No.5.

Comedian and TV presenter Alexander Armstrong debuts at No.6 with his first album 'A Year Of Songs'.

Anastacia's 'Ultimate Collection' enters at No.10, while Michael Bublé’s 'Christmas' jumps up 77 places to No.21 as the festive season approaches.
