McFly's Dougie Poynter has been named the winner of this year's 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'

Poynter beat off competition from Mark Wright and Fatima Whitbread to pick up the accolade, which has been won in previous years by the likes of Stacey Solomon and Kerry Katona.

Upon leaving the jungle, Poynter said that his time in Australia had been more than just an appearence on a reality TV show, calling it the best time of his life. He said:

"I'm lost for words. It's been the best couple of weeks of my life, I wish everyone in the world could experience that."
