McFly's Harry Judd opens up on heart problem

McFly star Harry Judd has spoken about his recently developed heart condition.

As previously reported, the drummer confirmed that he had acquired an ectopic heart beat due to excessive exercising as he prepares for the London Marathon.

Whilst it isn't a major condition, Judd said at the time that he just has to "chill out a bit".

Speaking to the Daily Star, the musician said that he has been made to go on a new diet following the development. He revealed:

"It was a scare at the time but now it's more of an annoyance, like an eye twitch. It's called a wandering pacemaker, where your heart develops an extra beat. Most of the time it doesn’t require treatment. I've cut out sugar and I'm strict with eating and it's been better. My life's healthy now. I don't drink, smoke or have caffeine."

Judd added: "It came on through excessive exercise. I was worried because I had all this sponsorship money and I didn't want to have to pull out."
