The 2013 Barclaycard Mercury Prize Albums of the Year were announced earlier this evening at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden. Host Lauren Laverne revealed that this year’s albums are:

James Blake 'Overgrown'
Jon Hopkins 'Immunity'
Laura Marling 'Once I Was An Eagle'
Laura Mvula 'Sing To The Moon'
Rudimental 'Home'
Savages 'Silence Yourself'
Villagers 'Awayland'
