The One Direction heartthrobs will debut their highly anticipated new music video for single 'Midnight Memories' later this week, but to keep fans happy they have now unveiled a trailer for the offering. 

The fifteen second clip shows the lads messing around in a late-night fast food joint and was shared on Twitter by member Liam Payne this afternoon (January 29). 

As previously announced, the full video for the single is due to premiere this coming Friday, January 31 at 4pm UK time and a few exciting stills have been released by the boyband's team (pictured below). Payne, meanwhile, confessed in a brief video update that the song 'paved the way' for their new album:

"It was actually one of the songs that I wrote with Louis [Tomlinson]. This is the first song that we wrote on the album. This kind of like paved the way for this whole album's sound."
