One Direction ask fans what they want from album 5

Four-piece boyband One Direction are hard at work on their fifth record and they have asked their fans what they want from this next offering.

A tweet was shared from the lads' collective Twitter page this afternoon (May 7) and it explains that they're currently working on what will be their first studio album since Zayn Malik departed the band: "The band are in the studio recording, what do you want to hear on album no.5?"

Heartthrob Liam Payne recently told Directioners that their new material, which they've been working on with songwriter Jamie Scott, has a different sound

"The songs have been coming out a bit more chilled. We want this to be quite a long-lasting album that you can listen to anytime, like Ed [Sheeran]’s album... The new album is a bit Oasis-y."

Music mogul Simon Cowell recently praised the boys' new music and teased that it will be 'the best' album they've made yet: "I have a feeling they are going to deliver this year the best record they've ever made. I've heard some of the early stuff. So I'm feeling good."
