One Direction's Louis Tomlinson takes to the pitch for charity football game

Louis Tomlinson and his Three Horsehoes football team emerged victorious in a charity match last night (October 22).

The One Direction singer was hosting a special event in aid of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice as League One's Doncaster Rovers took on the amateur side at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Three Horeshoes, who Tomlinson owns, ended up winning 2-1 on the night against a Doncaster team which featured some ex-professionals.

Tomlinson played his part in the game and was cheered on by One Direction bandmates Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles, with Zayn Malik absent.

Tomlinson later thanked his fans and his buddies for coming along, tweeting:

"Can't thank everyone enough for coming! Was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life! So so lovely to have the boys there thank you so much @Real_Liam_Payne @Harry_Styles and @NiallOfficial for being there!!!"
