Heartthrob Liam Payne has admitted that on a recent day off he decided to go out in public on his own and wore a particular disguise that was incredibly successful as nobody recognised him.

Speaking to Vogue in a brand new interview, the One Direction singer explained that it was a very casual look and one that he wouldn't go for in his day-to-day life:

"The other day I went out dressed as a big chav. Adidas trainers, jogging bottoms - and no one recognised me."

He also opened up about his new hair style and confessed that his management originally prevented him from altering his 'do, but he decided to go against their advice and shaved it off anyway:

"At the start, management said I wasn't allowed to change my hair. But then I did it anyway, so they kind of let that one go."
