One Direction star Zayn Malik has revealed "nobody else understands" like his bandmates, after hitting headlines for allegedly cheating on his Little Mix star girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

As previously reported, Australian waitress Courtney Webb, 21, claimed that she bedded the superstar singer at his North London home after believing he was single.

Malik has now told The Sun he and Edwards are "just fine" in the wake of the scandalous reports.

He added that his band mates - Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - have been a constant beacon of support, explaining: "We genuinely feel like brothers. If anything happens we are there because nobody else understands like the other lads.”

Yesterday, Malik took to Twitter to speak out after staying silent on the reports.

The heartthrob posted: "Hi everyone, just a quick message to say I love all you guys, without your support I don't know what I'd do :) x (sic)."
