One Direction star Louis Tomlison has revealed his sadness at the leak of his band's new charity single.

The pop group are releasing a cover of Blondie's 'One Way Or Another' as this year's official Red Nose Day song.

It will be unleashed digitally in the UK on February 17 before getting a physical release a day after.

However, it has now leaked online - something which Tomlinson took to Twitter to express his feelings about. The singer said:

"I hear the charity single has been leaked. Very sad to see. Don't forget together we are trying to raise money for Comic Relief. Please get behind an incredible charity and make a real difference. You can pre-order now from iTunes for the official track. Thank you."

A number of One Direction fans campaigned on Twitter after the leak for fans not to listen to the song and wait for its official release.
