One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles was "really nervous" in last minute BRIT Awards rehearsals today (February 20).

The singer along with bandmates Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, are taking to the stage at tonight's annual music awards ceremony to perform their new charity single 'One Way Or Another'.

In an interview with Capital FM, Styles admitted to feeling anxious ahead of their hotly-anticipated show: "I'm a little bit tired. I couldn't sleep very well last night!

He added of the band's last minute rehearsal today: "I was really nervous. I don't know [why], there was no one even in the room!"

Styles also added that he is "absolutely" excited about seeing Justin Timberlake mark his chart comeback on the BRITs stage.

The star also added that he's looking forward to seeing who the secret star is at the show, continuing: "Well, there's one dressing room that just says special guest, which always makes everyone wonder."

Earlier today, Emeli Sandé appeared to have confirmed that Beyoncé will be performing at the BRIT Awards tonight after accidentally revealing the alleged news during an interview with BBC Radio One.

When asked who she is most excited about seeing perform, the British singer said “Beyoncé” before the host quickly moved on.
