Taylor Swift, One Direction and more land further Teen Choice nominations

The likes of Taylor Swift and One Direction have secured more nominations for the Teen Choice Awards.

As previously reported, a number of top pop acts were honoured in the first batch of nominations for the ceremony, which is due to take place on August 11.

A second group of nominations have now been released, with Taylor Swift up for the Choice Country Song, Choice Single: Female Artist and Choice Break-Up Song gongs.

One Direction meanwhile have been nominated for the Choice Single: Group and Choice Love Song categories.

Other new nominees include Justin Bieber and Robin Thicke in the Choice Single: Male Artist section, whilst Rihanna's 'Diamonds' is up for the Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song award.

Ed Sheeran meanwhile will battle it out with fellow Brit Emeli Sandé in the Choice Music Breakout Artist category.
