One Direction star Niall Horan has admitted his annoyance at the leak of his band's new single.

The group are unveiling new track 'Best Song Ever' on Monday (July 22) but it found its way online on Wednesday (July 17).

In a new interview with Australia's Nova Live radio show, Horan said that he wanted the band's devotees to hear the song first together. The Irishman said:

"Because it was leaked, obviously it's a little bit frustrating as we were wanting the fans to hear it."

The 'Kiss You' singer also spoke of his love of Australia ahead of the group's return to the country in September. He said:

"We miss Australia so much. We can't wait to get back there."

Horan meanwhile has been transformed into an old studio executive for One Direction's 'Best Song Ever' video, with his character seen below.
