One Direction to use hotel maid groan on new album

One Direction have enlisted the help of a hotel staff member for their new album.

The lads have been working on the follow-up to their 2012 smash hit 'Take Me Home' and it seems they have had some unorthodox recording sessions.

The Sun reports that they managed to get a hotel maid to record a sexual sounding groan on one of the tracks. Harry Styles told the newspaper:

"We needed a, you know, a groan on one of the songs. So I asked a lady at the hotel to record the 'Urgghhhhh!'. She was nervous at first but soon got into the swing of it."

The group added that they ended up recording some material in makeshift studios in their hotel rooms, with Louis Tomlinson commenting:

"We stuck the mattresses against the walls for the acoustics."

One Direction meanwhile released their long awaited 'Best Song Ever' video on Monday (July 22), with the group hoping to break the VEVO 24-hour views record.
