Des Styles, the father of One Direction heartthrob Harry, has revealed that despite stories suggesting otherwise he was definitely bothered by his son's relationship with 'Xtra Factor' presenter Caroline Flack.

Writing on his official Twitter page over the weekend, Des told his followers that he has read some "rubbish" in the press recently about Styles and Flack's brief love affair and he implied that he wasn't too impressed with their romance:

"Also, his 'family' and 'parents' supposedly 'weren't bothered' about his thing with Caroline Flack so says she. Nobody asked me? Rubbish! X"

His comments came after 33-year-old Flack gave an interview in which she told a reporter that no one was "bothered" about the fact that she was 14 years older than the 'Best Song Ever' superstar.

Flack, meanwhile, has just confessed that she put herself through therapy because she couldn't cope with the emotional stress of her personal life and career.
