One Direction's 'oldest fan' gets 20th tattoo inked in honour of boyband

One Direction's so-called 'oldest superfan' has just had her 20th tattoo in honour of the group.

47-year-old Jayne Bailey has been a keen supporter of One Direction alongside her 13-year-old daughter ever since they formed on the X Factor in 2010.

She has just inked her 20th tattoo in tribute to the 'Kiss You' stars, with her latest piece honouring their new film This Is Us.

Speaking about her obsession with the pop superstars, Bailey said:

"I love the band. I think they're great, it's something me and my daughter can do together. People stare but I just get used to it. I've had abuse on Twitter - even from 13 and 14 year old girls. They say things like: "They will think you're stupid, they'll hate you". But I'm mature enough to know whether or not I want a tattoo. I had two before I got the 1D logo tattooed on my wrist.

"Some people look at me strangely but the people that know me, know that it's who I am. I'll be devastated if they break up, but I'm old enough to know what I'm getting myself into."

Some of Bailey's other tattoos include the singers' signatures and birthdates, as well as copies of some of One Direction's actual tattoos.

She added that she initially supported One Direction on the X Factor because Liam Payne's parents often visit her local pub.
