One Direction feature twice in top selling albums of the year list

One Direction have two entries in the list of this year's forty best-selling records.

The Official Charts Company have just issued 2013's top shifting albums in the UK, with Emeli Sandé's 'Our Version of Events' reigning supreme.

However, it is One Direction and Welsh rockers Stereophonics who are the only acts to feature twice in the top 40 list.

The 'Kiss You' stars' 2012 effort 'Take Me Home' is the 20th best-selling album of 2013 so far, whilst their 2011 debut 'Up All Night' lands at No.36 on the list.

Stereophonics meanwhile have seen new record 'Graffiti on the Train' land at No.18 and their 'Best Of' effort chart at No.28.

Other big hitters on the list include the Les Misérables film soundtrack at No.2 and Bruno Mars' 'Unorthodox Jukebox' at No.3.

Michael Bublé's 'To Be Loved' is the fourth best-selling album of the year so far whilst Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories' is the fifth.
