One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan has revealed that finding a girlfriend as an international pop star is a very tough feat because people already know who he is when he first meets them. 

During a new interview with E! News, the 'Best Song Ever' superstar explained that meeting someone who will see him for who he really is, without being influenced by his celebrity, isn't easy at all. 

He said: "You have to find the one who... just sees you as a normal person, which is exactly what I am, and just like you for who you are and not because I'm in One Direction."

Horan also opened up about being "dragged to the ground" by paparazzi earlier this week in Los Angeles and admitted that it caught him off guard:

"I wasn't expecting it... there was loads of paps -50, 60 paps - and the fans were behind them. They start pushing each other, which meant we got pushed. Then someone pushed me and dragged me to the floor, and then it was all a bit crazy and Zayn was being dragged around."
