Paloma Faith on cracking the U.S. market: 'Americans love my theatricality'

Songstress Paloma Faith has opened up about her desire and current attempt to crack America and has admitted that the country seems to understand her artistic appeal.

The '30 Minute Love Affair' hitmaker told Jon Hornbuckle that she's preparing to release her album in the U.S. in November and has been working hard on promoting the record stateside:

"I am doing a lot of things in America at the moment, I'm trying to crack it over there. The album is coming out there next month. I'm not nervous about America, I don't really get nervous about anything. I think you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself."

Faith added that Americans 'love her' and she isn't nervous about trying to make the transition from being a popular artist in the UK to become a well-known name in the USA: "I know people will make comparisons between me in America and how other people have gone down but I just did some gigs over there and all the reviews were amazing."

"Americans love my theatricality; they don't want someone that just stands there and sings, they like the entertainment of it all - the spectacle!"
