Queen's Brian May considering standing as MPQueen star Brian May is contemplating moving into politics. The guitarist's spokesman confirmed that he is considering standing as an MP. The 67-year-old has long been a commentator on politics and he is an avid animal rights campaigner. May's rep says his client is considering the move due to "frustration at a system that he sees as failing the electorate". The musician could stand for parliament under his Common Decency project. The campaign wants to "re-establish common decency in our lives, work and Parliament". May's spokesman added that he had "no firm plans" to stand in a particular constituency.
