Razorlight’s Johnny Borrell reveals he’s in love with making music again

Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell has revealed that he’s in love with making music again after recording the band’s fourth album.

The 32-year-old, who is now the only original member left of the indie-rock quartet, told the NME that their first release since 2008’s 'Slipway Fires' has helped to revitalise his passion:

“There's a whole new energy in it because we've got the new guys.

"Our first record was the garage rock 'n' roll record, the second record was the pop record, the third was the difficult break-up record and I thought if I could get the energy of the first one and some of the irresistibility of the second one, that's what we're going for."

The ‘America’ singer, who claims that the record is ‘very, very nearly finished,’ also added that he’s keen to start touring again:

"My philosophy at the moment is I will play anywhere at any point for whatever. I'm like, 'We're f***ing musicians, let's just f***ing play'."
