Finnish pop powerhouse ALMA releases her first mixtape Heavy Rules today via Casablanca Records/ Universal/ Virgin EMI/ & PME on March 2. Get it HERE. Heavy Rules mixtape is a collection of six tracks, including stellar features from fellow Scandinavian mavericks MØ and Tove Styrke, as well as buzzing sensation Kiiara. Full tracklisting below.

ALMA recently announced her first North American and European tour with stops in the U.S. including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and more.

ALMA comments about upcoming release of Heavy Rules, “I feel so blessed and grateful that for the last two years I’ve been able to travel around the world playing music with and for my favorite people. It felt wrong to me to be writing/ touring so much and not sharing more music with everyone which I why I really wanted to put together this collection of songs, my first mixtape. The ‘Heavy Rules’ mixtape is super important to me, it’s the most real I’ve ever been lyrically, melodically and more. I can’t thank MØ, Tove, Kiiara and the amazing producers and songwriters who helped the process along the way. Thanks for listening, can’t wait to come and play them for you soon.”

MØ spoke about the recent collaboration, "Working with ALMA on 'Dance For Me' was fun! I'm a massive fan of hers - both artistically and as a human, and so doing this collab was something I was very very excited about. She sent me the song a while ago and I instantly loved it so writing and singing on it was a pleasure all the way!"

“I loved being part of this song.” Tove Stryke adds, “ALMA is one of the coolest people I know and doing this song together has been such a fun and exciting thing for me.”

Kiiara also gushed about the music, "I love ALMA’s style and when I first heard the song I thought this would be the perfect song for us to collab on. I’m really excited to hear what the world thinks of it."

Heavy Rules was produced by Axident (Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber, Snoop Dog), Hank Solo, Mag, Jason Gill (Tove Lo, Zara Larsson), and recorded across the US, UK, and Finland, Heavy Rules marks ALMA’s first mixtape release.

Following the release of critically acclaimed singles “Chasing Highs” & “Phases”, ALMA has garnered over 170 million combined Spotify plays, and topped iTunes charts around the world. Undeniably one to watch, she landed on the prestigious BBC Music Sound of 2018, received the award for “Best Finnish Act” at the MTV EMA awards, and was named an “Artist To Watch” by VEVO DSCVR. Heavy Rules is set to continue ALMA’s momentum as she leads the charge of a new generation of fierce, female led pop music.
