The Seventeen year old from North London adds being a black belt in karate alongside her songwriting talents. With her love for Graphic Art she partnered with illustrator Jagan – (@jags.play Instagram) for the new single sleeve. Laurel Smith began releasing singles, “Mona Lisa”, “Afterthought” and her first E.P “Mortals” through AWAL during 2019. "Candy" was inspired by a character, Halley, and her daughter in the movie "The Florida Project”. Laurel say's she was moved by their relationship and the things Halley does to provide for her child whilst they're residents of a motel.
