Lucy Texeira & Charley Bird struck a chord with the UK public last year when their infectious personalities first featured on the X Factor as 2 Shoes.  In a shocking TV moment the girls were voted out on the 1st week by their mentor Tulisa when each judge was forced to eliminate one of their acts.  The ‘Shoes applied their usual positivity to the situation and everyone was sure that this wouldn’t be the last time the great British public saw 2 Shoes.

Fast forward 9 months and 2 Shoes have signed a single & album deal with All Around The World Records (AATW).

“We're really excited to be working with Lucy & Charley and are positive that they can now achieve the success that they deserve.  The girls went out too soon on X-Factor and this is a chance for them to show everyone what they are about” – Matt Cadman – Director – AATW Records.

The 2 Shoes girls who are famous for their “emosh” and “totes amaze” sayings as well as their massive voices join a range of acts including their former X Factor mentor & N-Dubz star Tulisa, as well as Cascada at the dance label.

The ‘Shoes have been consistently flat out in the studio with Liverpool based production team Rudedog (Ste Cocky, Lee Butler & Christian Davies) and are set to release a reworking of the Kathy Brown club classic – ‘Turn Me On (Turn Me Out)’ as their debut release on August 13th 2012. In addition to the single the girls are working on their debut album which is expected for release early 2013.

“We are so emoshe after signing our record deal with AATW.  This really is proof that the only way is Essex!” – Lucy & Charley.

As well as touring extensively since leaving the X Factor, the massively popular 2 Shoes girls have also presented ‘The Hub’ on ITV 1’s This Morning a number of times as well as making appearances on other programmes such as ‘Celebrity Juice’.
