Zayn and Taylor Swift’s “I Don't Wanna Live Forever” Becomes 4x Platinum in US

"I Don't Wanna Live Forever" by Zayn and Taylor Swift has reached four times platinum in the US, which means that it's sold over 1.4 million copies in that territory.

The song appears on the soundtrack of "Fifty Shades Darker", and was written by Swift, Sam Dew, and Jack Antonoff, who also produced it.

It was released on December 6 2016 and sold 188,000 copies in the US during its first week of release. 

The video featured the duo and was directed by Grant Singer, who also directed Lorde's "Green Light" and Ariana Grande's "Let Me Love You".

The song is currently Platinum in the UK (600,000 copies), Sweden (40,000 copies), Spain (40,000 copies), New Zealand (30,000 copies), Denmark (60,000 copies) and Belgium (20,000 copies). It is Double Platinum in Brazil (80,000 copies) and Canada (160,000 copies). In Italy it is Triple Platinum with 150,000 copies and Platinum and Gold in Mexico with 90,000 copies.
