Adam Lambert is celebrating after going gold in the US.

The singer's 2015 single 'Ghost Town' has now reached the milestone sales mark.

The US star achieved the Record Industry Association of America feat by shifting over 500,000 units.

The certification is the first time one of Lambert's singles has gone gold in the in the US.

The song was the lead cut from Lambert's latest album 'The Original High'.

The record also spawned the single 'Another Lonely Night'.

The former American Idol man is now touring the album across the world.

He is due to play two shows in the UK in the spring.
