'Rocky Horror' remake cast praise Adam Lambert: 'Every take he brought something new'
The highly anticipated TV remake of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' will premiere later today (October 20) and some of the cast have revealed that performing alongside Adam Lambert, who plays Eddie, was nothing short of awe-inspiring.
During a new interview for BUILD Series (watch the chat from the 16-minute mark below), Victoria Justice and Christina Milian opened up about working alongside the vocal powerhouse on the exciting new version of the film and had nothing but praise for him.
Victoria Justice, who plays the iconic role of Janet, said: "Oh my god, amazing. I was so excited to hear his vocal on the track. As soon as I heard, I was like, "oh, oh my god! Are you kidding me? This is incredible!" [...] It was so much fun watching him perform."
"Brad and Janet are just watching Eddie so his thing, so I didn't have to have any acting necessary. I was just watching this. Every take he brought something new - he had so much energy. He was, like, wrapping the microphone cord around him and sticking his tongue out - he was so into it. It was just amazing to watch such an incredible performer."
Christina Milian, who stars in the 'Rocky Horror' remake as Magenta, added: "I fanned out... so did Reeve Carney, so did Laverne (Cox)... everybody, when Adam got to the set. We all turned into instant fans. We were all so happy to see him and for him to bring his energy onto the set, too. Like, him with the motorcycle and the facial expressions!"
