Adele sets impressive chart record

2011 has genuinely been the most successful year in Adele's career despite launching her debut record, '19', back in 2008. 

Yesterday, April 10, she scored her eleventh week at number 1 in the UK albums chart with her sophomore effort, '21', which earned her the title of having the most consecutive weeks at the top of the chart for a solo artist's record in chart history. 

The Official Chart Company also explained:

"No record has a had a longer run at number one since 1984 when Bob Marley and the Wailers’ greatest hits compilation Legend spent 12 consecutive weeks in the top spot."

The 'Somebody Like You' hitmaker will also release an exclusive 10" vinyl to celebrate Record Store Day on April 16, and you can watch her perform 'Set Fire To The Rain' here:
