T.I. drowns his sorrows

Straight after T.I. was handed a prison sentence on Friday (October 15), he drowned his sorrows at Mary's Tea Room in Atlanta with close friends and family.

Blackeyed peas, whipped potatoes and chicken dumplings were washed down with Kahlua-based White Russian cocktails.

The rapper was sentenced to 11 months in prison, after a judge revoked his probation following his arrest on drug charges in Los Angeles last month.

He was released from prison just eight months ago, after serving nearly a year behind bars on federal weapons charges and was on three year's probation as part of his initial plea bargain.

Only a few days earlier this week, T.I. had been praised for helping cops prevent a suicidal man from jumping off a 22-floor building in Atlanta.
