Gods of alternative rock The Pixies have re-launched their website today, offering fans access to gig recordings and giving registered users the chance to download the band’s 2004 Coachella performance for free at http://www.pixiesmusic.com.

The new site will also invite fans to contribute to a multimedia ‘gigography’ by uploading videos and photos from the shows they have attended.

A marketing email to fans stated, “It feels like the right time for the band to have a proper home, share some music, and provide a place for fans and the band to communicate”.

The site also features news and blog feeds as well as links to US and UK merchandise stores.
