Housework comes first for Dave Grohl

Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl has revealed that the band are hard at work recording their new album in his own garage. But while the domestic location is working out for them, he still believes in putting housework before rock.

Talking to The Sun newspaper, the former Nirvana drummer added that the routine was working out well with his other role - that of being a father.

Grohl says: "I can get the kids up in the morning. Sometimes I do some housework, a bit of vacuuming and dusting, then in the week get the children out for the day. Then I go down to my garage and go to work. We make some heavy music".

Foo Fighters will be playing the Milton Keynes Bowl from July 2 - 3 in 2011.
