Bucks Fizz fight

The four original members of 80's pop band, Bucks Fizz, are fighting over the rights to the band's name.

Jay Ashton, Cheryl Baker and Mike Nolan are in dispute with former member, Bobby G.

The battle began when the three tried to trade-mark their current moniker, The Original Bucks Fizz. Bobby G blocked their action, having trademarked the name 'Bucks Fizz' when the band originally broke up.

Aston said:  "Bobby didn’t like the fact we were getting more work. While he’s been doing more cabaret and holiday camps, we’ve been performing gigs with as many as five or six thousand in the audience."

Bucks Fizz became famous when they won the Eurovision Song Contest for the UK with 'Making Your Mind Up' in 1981.
