The final recordings of former Japan bassist, the late Mick Karn, will be released as a Dalis Car album later this year.

The fretless bassist originally teamed up with the former Bauhaus frontman, Peter Murphy to form the duo, Dalis Car, in 1984. They released one album, 'The Waking Hour'.

Karn was able to record with Murphy again last September in a studio in Oxford, two months after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He lost his cancer battle in January this year.

Former Japan drummer, Steve Jansen, has just finished remixing the four recorded tracks which will be released as an EP later this year under the name 'Dalis Car 2'.
