Taylor Swift Shares Family Ties to Singapore at Concert

During her Saturday evening concert at the National Stadium in Singapore, Taylor Swift revealed that she has family ties there that have made this run of shows even more special.

Swift has four more performances ahead of her at the National Stadium as part of her worldwide Eras tour, and told the crowd that her mother, Andrea, grew up there. Speaking to her audience from behind her piano, Swift explained:

“My mom actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mom and dad, and her sister, growing up in Singapore. A lot of the time when we would come here on tour, my mom would take me and drive me past her old house, and where she used to go to school. I’ve been hearing about Singapore my whole life.”

Over the weekend, Swift announced that there will be a fourth and final edition of her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, and it will feature a bonus track called “The Black Dog”. There will be three other versions available upon its release on April 19, each with a specific additional song. The other confirmed titles are “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter” and “The Albatross”.
