The upcoming and eagerly awaited Reverie EP from Pinwheel Valley (Formerly known as KAIS) marks a pivotal chapter in the intensely accoladed artist’s career. Ahead of its full release, the title single will be distributed by Levantine Music and available to stream on all major platforms from April 10th.

After an installation of artfully progressive indie rock with tonal hues luminous enough to resound as euphonically arcane as they juxtapose the dark lyrical iconography, the EP veers into the title single, which pulls profound Jeff Buckley-esque soul out of an intimate confession, divulged with a visceral sense of urgency.

With the warmly overdriven guitars melodically echoing the haunted agony within the evocatively magnetic vocal lines, you won’t know where your emotions end, and the aching poetry begins.

Pinwheel Valley said:

“Reverie is a hard-hitting love song about losing someone you love, and the arduous longing to win them back. The song is a picturesque journey that unfolds like an untold story about heartbreak and heartache.”

Amelia Vandergast, Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

“In Reverie, Pinwheel Valley linger at the precipice of dissension, acting as the aural architects of a scarring turmoil; the single transcends the sound barrier, breaking into emotional artillery which shoots past the heart and into the soul.”

About

Having long found inspiration in Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke and Ben Howard, Canadian singer-songwriter Qais Khoury (formerly KAIS) delivered a white-heat intensity in Pinwheel Valley's panoptic sound; the rising dynamo-in-the-making struck sonically & lyrically into the heart of iridescent and pastel aural-tones.

In the same vein as Palace, Half Moon Run or Art of Sleeping, Pinwheel Valley’s synthesis of sound melds Indie Soul, Mellow Alternative Rock and Folktronica with fingerprint intricacy.

After touring through Vancouver, Toronto and Seattle from 2016 - 2017, the band received an honorary mention in the 2016 International Songwriting Competition, a Canadian Best Out of Province Nomination at the 13th Annual Toronto Independent Music Awards and a Lyrics Finalist slot in the 2017 USA Songwriting Competition.

In 2020, Pinwheel Valley joined the London Indie sync licensing roster, North Note, and were invited to a prestigious show by BBC Radio London host Robert Elms for their seminal 2018 single, Take Me Home. More recent achievements include Best
Music Video wins for 'Abduction' and 'Willow' at the 2023 New York Movie Awards, Vegas Movie Awards, Swedish International Film Awards, and Russia's HALO International Film Festival.

Currently, the group has been signed for distribution to the London / LA based record label Levantine Music, as they continue to work on their profoundly explorative music out of their home base island in the Mediterranean; a place truly encircled by sea on all sides, their only way out proves to be none other than a steady rise up.
