Arcade Fire star Will Butler has confirmed plans to tour North America next year.

The musician will embark on his first solo jaunt in March to support his upcoming record 'Policy'.

The tour will open at TT the Bears in Boston on March 6 before concluding at Montreal's Bar le Ritz PDB on March 28.

There will also be a number of dates at Austin's SXSW festival.

'Policy' meanwhile will be released on March 16.
