Avril Lavigne debuts 'Rock N Roll' video

Avril Lavigne has premiered her latest music video.

The Canadian singer is releasing the track 'Rock N Roll' as the next cut to be taken from her forthcoming self-titled album.

It comes soon after previous effort 'Here's To Never Growing Up', which hit No.14 in the UK charts earlier this year.

Lavigne has now released the full video for 'Rock N Roll', which opens with the singer taking a phone call before referencing her past hit 'Sk8er Boi'.

It sees the Canadian live in a fantasy world, with Lavigne discovering a masked fugitive before chasing after him in a car driven by a dog.

She is also seen kissing a female friend and performing a guitar solo in front of an isolated church, echoing Slash in Guns N' Roses' iconic 'November Rain' clip.
