Beyoncé has raised over $82k for victims of the Flint water crisis in Michigan

Beyoncé and her fans have raised over $82,000 for those affected by the Flint water crisis.

The Michigan state was rocked by a water contamination issue in 2014, leading to illness in children.

Beyoncé's charitable project BeyGOOD has now donated $82,234 to the United Way of Genesee County.

The money was raised by fans who opted into donating towards the relief efforts.

Fourteen Detroit-based high school students were also given help towards educational expenses, as well as gig tickets.

Beyoncé meanwhile will perform in Detriot tonight (June 14) as part of her Formation world tour.
