Vocal superstar Beyoncé has admitted that she was overwhelmed at how well her Super Bowl half-time set went last night (February 3).

Speaking to America's Yahoo! OMG directly after her high-octane performance, the songstress explained that it went smoothly and she was really enjoyed herself: "It was beautiful. It was really beautiful."

She added that working so hard to prepare for the event was rewarding, especially after the controversy of her inaugural performance which she mimed:

"It feels good to know that the hard work paid off. It's a live television show, it's the biggest show in America. There are so many things that could happen - and God was on my side."

Beyoncé added extra excitement to her live show by bringing out her Destiny's Child bandmates for a couple of songs and following their joint performance, member Michelle Williams tweeted: "Had a great time w/my sisters tonight!! Tried to keep it a surprise!! Love you all...God bless!!"
