Blink 182 say that they can't please everyone with their new record

Blink 182's bassist, Mark Hoppus, told Alternative Press that he does not expect everyone to like the band's latest album, 'Neighborhoods'.

He says that he is aware that it won't be for everyone:

"I'm very proud of the record as a whole. Expectations are giant for this album and that's a huge honour. People are excited about our band even after eight years of not having a new CD. That said, there are going to be some people who are like 'This record sucks'."

He continues saying that Blink 182 have always done their own thing and this applies to their forthcoming album also:

"There are some people out there that just want 'What's My Age Again?' Blink-182 in Dickies shorts and Hurley T-shirts, running around just being silly and screaming and whatever. We have always tried to keep our heads down and do our own thing."

The album, which is due to be released on September 26, is the pop-punk group's sixth studio album to be released in 19 years.

'After Midnight' is the second single from the album and it is available to buy now.
