Britney's new single to be released a month early

After the phenomenal success of Britney Spears' comeback single, 'Hold It Against Me', its UK release date has been pushed forward by almost a month to satisfy "overwhelming demand".

Britney's UK publicist, Shoshanna Stone tweeted (January 14):

"Retweet this if you love Britney's 'hold it against me'! The UK itunes release is now monday 17th Jan due to overwhelming demand!"

The track was originally set for a February 20 release, but now it will be a lot sooner and coincidentally on the same date that Glee's Britney Spears tribute episode airs in the UK.
