Will.i.Am has been adding to the anticipation ahead of the release of Britney Spears’ eighth album by discussing what fans can expect.

The former Black Eyed Peas hitmaker is serving as executive producer on Spears’ latest LP and also worked on her last album ‘Femme Fatale’, as well as teaming-up with the ‘…Baby One More Time’ star for 2012’s ‘Scream & Shout’.

Speaking to E! News about Britney’s new material, Will.i.Am revealed: “There's a lot of personal, sultry songs, as well as grit and edge and oomph.”

The American rapper also praised Spears’ work ethic during the recording process saying:

“I'm really really proud of her and her dedication, and how disciplined and focused she was in the studio, how passionate she is to win.”

Will.i.Am recently revealed that he would like to join Britney onstage during her Las Vegas ‘Piece Of Me’ residency.

Britney Spears will be in the UK later this week making appearances on BBC Radio 1 and ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’.

Britney’s current single ‘Work Bitch’ will be released in the UK on November 3.
