Rising independent artist Andrea Nord is set to make waves in the music scene once again with her latest single release, "Monsters". Hailing from Norway, Andrea Nord's musical journey has been shaped by her education at the renowned hit-making school, LIMPI, where she honed her craft under the guidance of industry luminaries such as Stargate and Emily Warren. After “Little Things” earlier this year, "Monsters" serves as the second glimpse into Andrea Nord's highly anticipated debut EP, Closer To My Monsters Than My Friends. Collaborating with Portuguese pop producer Bruno Mota (known for his work with Pusha-T), Andrea has meticulously put together a collection of songs that delve into themes of self-discovery, resilience, and mental health. The EP, a labor of love three years in the making, will be released as singles throughout 2024, with "Monsters" leading the charge.

Drawing inspiration from her own experiences, Andrea Nord shares, "I wrote this song to her. She wanted to fit in so bad, but she was too much. Monsters is about the negative thoughts we hold on to. We create our realities through the stories we tell ourselves, and by separating them by naming them something else (like monsters), they don’t get to become a part of you. You hold the power of what your life should look like."

The track is a poignant reflection on overcoming self-doubt and embracing individuality. Andrea Nord's haunting vocals intertwine with Bruno Mota's dynamic production. As Nord candidly shares, "I used to express myself through clothes and hairstyles cause I felt mute most of the time. But as an anxious teenager, I always knew I would one day be able to express myself."
