Sir Elton John slams Janet Jackson: 'I'd rather see a drag queen'
Music icon Sir Elton John has hit out at Janet Jackson and claimed that she lip-syncs her way through concerts.
He recently told the Rolling Stone that he doesn't understand why her latest concerts had rave reviews because she isn't a live performer and so there's little skill involved in one of her shows:
"You know, f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, 'This is the greatest show - four and a half stars.' It's f**king lip-synced! Hello! That's not a show! I'd rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off."
Sir Elton is known for speaking his mind and, back in January, he gave his opinion on Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP' album, which he admitted wasn't a great record:
"'ARTPOP' was not a great idea. It was not a good album and I think she would admit that... I think she's a great writer. To me, she is (real name) Stefani Germanotta and I love her and I care about her - she's godmother to my two children. And I want her to go and make a kind of simple, fabulous, great song record. Maybe like (Carole King album) 'Tapestry', but her version."
