DJ Platinum Vibes, who has released music previously under the music collectives Dgammafiv and GammaFi Sound Machine (“Dopamine”, “Luminosity"), has returned with another stellar genre-twisting production titled “Me Myself and I” featuring dancehall and reggae recording artist, Sugar Bear.

“Me Myself and I” is a charged up electropop, future house music smash running the gamut of sound across the EDM and pop spaces. Featuring a rich, soulful female vocal performance, contrasted with the show stopping vocal delivery and flow of Sugar Bear, “Me Myself and I” is catapulted into another stratosphere of sound.

Making clever use of electronic and acoustic elements, the vibes can be felt immediately from the opening piano chord progression and wistful female vocals declaring “You gotta leave….”

The DJ Platinum Vibes produced track is actually a spinoff from his instrumental release “Velocity” in 2020, now enhanced in 2023 to feature a pair of top notch vocal performances and a compelling storyline to match.

The song’s story line is driven by the concept of a relationship in turmoil…one in which the woman asserts that it’s over and she has the confidence and wherewithal to move on. However, on the opposite end of the spectrum, her male counterpart savvily tries to convince her otherwise with a flurry of charming bars as he attempts to coax her back.

SUGAR BEAR is a Dancehall and Reggae artist, born in Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He migrated to New York as a youngster. Love for music and the strong influence of music by reggae artists such as Bounty Killer led SUGAR BEAR to pursue his musical ambitions.

He started by doing dubs for the Young Hawk sound system from Bronx, New York and performing live in local clubs whenever possible. He then began recording songs and traveling to Jamaica to promote and perform.
