With a No4 in the iTunes charts and music nominations both sides of the Atlantic, this stunning singer/songwriter announces her first  UK support tour and new single release for Autumn 2015

“…A star in the making... epic songs, an immense and pitch perfect vocal” -

"Current, upbeat and straight to the point…Nina's vocal power sounds astoundingly effortless…very hooky melodies"- The Bizz Nizz

Nina Schofield – an incredible home-grown singer/songwriter & instrumental talent, so diverse and fresh that her unique blend of delicious pop is on the point of global explosion as she announces a UK support tour this Autumn alongside big Radio 2 artists including Nell Bryden, Ben Montague and Blair Dunlop. Coinciding with the tour, Nina also releases her new single ‘Come Down’ on 6th November.  With the ink still wet on her new signing with Notting Hill Music for publishing and an album of original pennings set for release next year, Nina Schofield is definitely top of the UK’s ones-to-watch list for 2016.

But that’s just the tip of this spine-tingling musical iceberg….with a No.4 iTunes chart hit, nominations for Best Female Artist on both sides of the Atlantic (2014’s Best of British Music Awards and Best Female Vocal Artist in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2014), vocals alongside Emma Bunton on the national ad campaign for the Channel 5 show ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, live appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival (sharing the bill with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Jeff Beck, Gnarls Barkley and Lily Allen), an enviable dance-floor following with her featured vocals on Aurosonic & Frainbreeze’s ‘Lift You Up’ track and being head-hunted by Dutch pop/RnB super band, Romeo, to join them on their sell out come-back show – Nina Schofield is clearly making an indelible mark on the industry. Added to which, she co-wrote and co-worked with Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winners and nominees with a striking list of names such as Morrisey’s Richard Niles, Gabrielle Aplin’s Tom Wilding, Usher’s Angelo Valentino and Orbital’s Lloyd Perrin.

Produced and co- written by Jo Pereira and recorded at his home studio, Nina’s new single, ‘Come Down’ is a divine slice of mouth-watering musical mastery. Sounding like a musical fusion of Sky Ferreira, Ella Eyre and Major Lazer, Nina’s captivating vocals weave their way beautifully around a pulsating fabric of beats, giving this track the ability to easily traverse radio and dance-floor in equal measure.

It goes without saying that Nina is no ‘new comer’ to the scene; she’s been working, living and breathing music since the age of 8. Classically trained and having successfully completed a Degree in Vocal Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Nina began writing and performing in her early teenage years.  Now in her early 20’s, Nina has a lifetime of experience in her craft and understands the benefit of bringing music into children’s lives from a young age.  That’s why she also invests a great deal of her time teaching keyboards and vocals to children and is an official ambassador for the Rose Road Association – a charity in her local town which supports children with complex health needs.

A stunning vocal talent with the ability to create musical magic with her songwriting skills, Nina Schofield promises to garner huge attention as she kicks off her UK tour in October to support big Radio 2 artists Nell Bryden, Blair Dunlop and Ben Montague.  Listen and enjoy!

The new single ‘Come Down’ is released on 6th November on Bright Star Records and 23rdPrecinct/Notting Hill.
